Introduction
Good, beautiful day, beautiful, beautiful souls! This is Charla Anderson, host of the Charla Anderson Show~Collector & Connector of Fascinating People (& EVERYONE is Fascinating!), especially you.
What do you, what do you do when everything falls apart? In 2016, Sid McNairy lost his sight and became paralyzed and found his divine purpose. Through surrender and faith, he rose to embody peace and guide others to healing, We’re going to meet the recipient of the International Ambassador of Peace Award in 2024. And we’re going to glean that wisdom.
…BUT FIRST…
We’re going to take that 22 second mini vacation. We’re going to take our little breathing exercise and breathe in calm for seven seconds. We’re going to hold for four seconds and breathe out gratitude for 11 seconds. So here, let’s breathe in some calm. Hold. Relax, release. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Well, Sid is my guest today. We’ve met through The Change, the book series called The Change. And I was in book number 21. I’m not sure what book you were in, Sid?
23
So you’re a little newer than me. That is one of the most affect us astounding things I’ve done. I feel like it’s a credibility piece. Jim Britt, Jim Lutz are absolute gifts of wisdom and coaching, international speakers, all that. So we met on the mastermind in that and that is that I just love that. Don’t you that?
Yeah,
Sometimes we get to glean from these brilliant world-class folks on Zoom and Mastermind. It’s amazing, isn’t it?
Yeah, it is. They both are so willing to share the space of what they’ve been through, and there’s nothing greater than actual experience. So it’s phenomenal to be with them.
And they’re, but basically they’re very down to earth and very, you know, easy to know and get to be even though they are world class folks. Anyway, so today I’m so fascinated about what I’m learning about you and this, you know, you became paralyzed. You were a football coach for, college football coach for years. And becoming a master healer and a world peace ambassador, you know what? I think the juxtaposition of football and energy healing seems a little not normal, right? It’s a little odd. So I’m just really inspired by your story. So let’s find out who you are in this world. What’s going on?
Well, you know, I’d say, well, who I am being, right? Because the age-old, who are you? Everything that I am doing is not who I am. Every concept of who I am is not who I am. Every body part’s not who I am. So really looking at that and breaking it all down, who am I? I am the awareness that sees everything that I am. That’s who I am. And knowing that I am that awareness, at this point in life, I am choosing which things I do next, which looks like my music, movies that I’ve written and bringing those to the big screen and all the different things that way, streaming, and then building up the sanctuary one, which is my grandmother has 228 acres. So building a community that helps all humans know we’re together.
Wow. So there’s a lot there, you know, and a lot of, you know, I think we were talking earlier, but, you know, I was raised very fundamentally. And there was a very small God-in-a-box religion. I call religion a return to bondage. I believe the relationship was often left out of that, my upbringing, right? And it was rules and regulations. And what I’ve learned is that if God is love, he can’t not be love. And he’s not out there. He’s here. He is us. And we’re all, like you just alluded to, we’re all connected, you know, and that’s not a traditional belief, so to speak. And I think this foot, you know, when I was seeing that you were a football coach, and then I’m seeing that you actually healed, you’re basically paralyzed and blind and going that direction. And then you healed and you became a healer through that experience, right?
Yes. So, I mean, I had been doing little things since I was three. Fortunately, I went back to have surgery and went back to the light, and the light spoke to me. So then I came back knowing that I was different. and different than what I thought I was, not different than different than everybody else, but just different than what I computed of myself. And then the voice said to me, son, I got you. So then all of a sudden I felt invincible. And which meant no matter what I would face, I could help myself or I could help other people, so on and so forth. Life challenged me through all the different moments, helping my friend when we were in college, who they said had bone marrow cancer and they sent him home.
Wasn’t gonna be able to play sports, because if he got hurt, they thought he would die. And before he left, I called my mom and said, hey, this doesn’t happen to a friend of mine. She was like, what are you talking about? I said, I know I can heal him. So she called Father Brown and he talked to me and he said, well, if you can do it, then do it. And so in our fraternity, I called in a bunch of my fraternity brothers, and we all prayed over Darren, and I put my hands over him. And three days later, he was back. and no longer needing to take pills and all this stuff. And it was like, okay, that was one moment. I saw him 20 years later and he’s still alive. And he was like, yeah, I can’t believe that that’s what that was. So not only was I doing that for other people, I had to learn that it was even something possible for that to really happen, for me to believe it. 20 years later, I start to believe those things. And then people started calling and saying, hey, I saw you in my dreams. Can you do what you did in the dream to heal me? And I’d be like, well, I don’t do that, I’m a football coach. And then all of a sudden they’d say, well, this is what you did. I’d be like, all right, I can try it. And I would try it and they would go back to the doctor and feel great.

And that’s, so life has taught me to be who I’m being now, not the other way around, me searching life for what I could become. Cause I was never someone who just loved school. for someone to tell me what I needed to know felt like that person was trying to put me in a box. when we don’t even know what’s out in the universe. So I wanted to know that, which was this voice that talked to me at three years old. So I’ve been chasing that level of connection, that level of awareness to know, oh, there you are, you just said something. Or someone says they’ve got messages for me, and I’m like, oh, do you? Whose it is from? Oh, it’s from God. All right, well, let me just ask God, to speak through you as I ask this question.
And if that person, and I’d say this for anybody, if someone’s saying they are speaking for God to you, then do you need to talk to them for them to answer the questions that you have? No. So that’s my trick. I say, hey, this is it. Like one guy, should Tommy be my mentor? Tommy, right in front of me said, Tommy is not your mentor. Now there’s somebody that is talking about themselves typically say that when I didn’t ask the question out loud. So then from that moment on, I was okay listening to Tommy because there was a spirit God delivering the message that I needed to hear. So that’s just been kind of my life. being able to challenge those things. Even parents say, you got to do something. Oh, do I? I’m not sure about that.
You’re following in basically what we would consider intuition. That’s the voice that you’re hearing from the intuition. I believe we all have it. We all have it. I believe we’ve taught to repress it or not. Not trained for it. So I think it’s fascinating, and I’ve said many times, you know, if God can create it, he can heal it. If God is, I had one of my really good friends, you know, had an aorta split or whatever. And we found out, you speak what you want, not what you don’t want. I mean, we speak life, not death. There’s no way. And I saw the ultrasound. And that’s where if God can create it, he can heal it. The ultrasound of his heart, right?
And they’re looking. And he, we found out later that he had less than a 1% chance of being alive the next morning. And he’s still trucking seven, eight years later, I think. So anyway, and he was a big, strong marine, all this stuff, very manly, and collects antique sewing machines. So I just thought he was a great, he’s such a great guy. But anyway, we wouldn’t, I wouldn’t let them, his wife and friends, do anything else but speak life.
And so I think that, but the doctors say, I said, who created the doctors? Science says, so who created science? I mean, I just really had a passion about that, that we can heal and we are healers. And I’m pretty sure that I’m a good example of that too. So this is, This is a subject that I just find so interesting and fascinating, because it’s not something people go around talking about, generally speaking. It’s like, you found out that you were a healer, but you were really a football coach, but you were really a, you know, so, and how does that all, how does that match? How do you, and then, the only person from the United States to win an Ambassador of Peace Award in Sweden, where they do the Nobel Prize. I mean, that’s fascinating. And you’ve written how many books now?
I’ve written 13, but 10 of them, the 10th one gets published on 11/22, the autobiography of a human. And then the other three, I kind of shift gears after that one, because that was nonfiction, my life story, all that for the first 10 books. The next three books that start in December are a sci-fi fantasy novel. So what I love about Shifting Gears is I’ve been able to expand my mind into the unknown.
In the novels.
Yes,
Exactly. So you’re kind of, you’re experimenting in a way out without it having to be proved or facts or
whatever. Yeah, and what I’d say that I really love about that world of writing, I look at all the sci-fi movies and the superhero movies, and they’re almost unbelievable. Like Star Wars, when Star Wars came out in the 80s, or The Matrix, and now, they may have been unbelievable to where we were as humanity, but now today, Star Wars is just a thing. Like flying cars and all this stuff, that’s nothing. Hovercrafts, like talking on a phone, holograms that play out of a robot, like these things are here. So was it fake? Or was it just a glimpse into the future that we haven’t seen yet?
And that’s how I see it. Uh, that’s not the exact word I want to use, but that’s kind of programming in a sense. I mean, you know, it’s like the Simpsons on the Simpsons that said we’d have the person in the white house that we have today. Did they make it happen or did they just say it and everything comes from a thought?
That the Simpsons is one of those, it’s so many of the things that they predict. They’re just in their show. It’s just part of their show. And then it really is happening. So yes, truly, there’s something to be that. There’s project looking glass. I feel like there’s, I don’t know if it’s time travel. I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t have to know. But it’s fascinating. And I do believe our job in all of this confusion that we’re living through right now is just to love people, just love as God loves, just love, just love. And the harder they are to love, the more they need it, right? So, yeah, so the anatomy of a human, autobiography of a human.
Yes, yes.
Yes, and that is, your latest book that’s being published?
Yeah, it’ll be published. Really, it took me 30 years to write the last two books that I wrote. And they were one book, but between the two would be over 1000 pages. So I had to break them up. One is the Sutras of Quantum Living and then the other one is the Autobiography of a Human. The Autobiography of a Human, when I started it 30 years ago, I thought I had lived enough life at 22 to write my autobiography. And our 25 and and no, I hadn’t, you know, not I could have written that then. Yet it didn’t have it didn’t come close to the depth that I’ve had of, you know, since going through that of sitting on the mountains for days, three nights and vision quest and the Native American customs, 10 days in silence, going blind for the second time. losing the use of my body, being paralyzed, and all those different things, I hadn’t experienced them. I couldn’t write about them. And now I have, so there’s something to, I could have read someone else’s story and written it, the understanding of it, but to actually experience it and have it as an understanding so that I can look back and overstand and share that for others to get something from, it’s just different.
Someone, what’s his name? I’m going to look for the quote if I can find it. The scientist that said something about your autograph. Oh, here it is. The autobiography of a human. A mission of peace challenges my scientific mind in a way it has never been tested before. The author is bold enough to accept the facts of life without allowing science to be the end point of our reality. Sid insists that natural facts fall short of explaining the truth of our being. I challenge you to test the convictions of your beliefs by reading the words of a man brave enough not only to question his own faith, but to spend a lifetime removing the shackles that limit the pursuit of happiness while searching for the truth about his perceived reality. I call him the first free black man. And that guy is Dr. Guidon? Yes,
Dr.Gary Guidon.
So that’s about your book coming up, A Mission Redefines the Human Experience, is what he’s saying. So that’s pretty fascinating. That’s pretty high calling there, too.
Yeah, when he wrote that and sent it back to me, I mean, I was like, did he just say this? Can I actually publish this? Because when I publish it, what are people going to think of me?
And who cares, right? That’s kind of the point.
Yes, who cares? And at the same time, it’s like when I received the World Peace Award, it challenged me to be even more peaceful because if I’m not the one that they gave the award to, is it even possible? to be the peace guy and not hold peace, right? So for me, that’s not only a bold thing to say, it’s a calling me forward. Like I’ve been called forward. People call me forward more so than I pursued and tried to become something. Someone like this lady, Anne, called one day and first talked to my my wife at the time and said, hey, I need to talk to Sid. My son is sick and they’re going to do a spinal tap. His fever’s high and he’s lethargic. But Sid can heal him. And I was like, I don’t know about that.
I don’t want to take on somebody’s little baby, because if the baby doesn’t make it, whose fault is that? Back when I didn’t realize so much that God was doing it all. And so finally, she and my wife talked me into going over, and the baby, when it heard my voice, grabbed me and fastened its arms around my neck and its legs around my waist or my ribcage and pulled its heart against my heart. And I could feel my heart feeding his little heart. And then when it was done, he let go and he was no longer blue and he was moving, he was happy, he was smiling. And I was like, okay, maybe there’s something to what’s inside of me. So they called me for it. I didn’t pursue them to go, hey, I’m your healer, come to me.
No, I actually, I’m just now, after been doing this for, I don’t know, 15, really since I was three, but in the last 20 years, I knew I could be doing it. And so I just recently got to a point where I tell people, hey, you can come see me. It used to be, nah, you’re going to have to figure it out because I really don’t want to, I don’t. But people kept calling me forward. And I was told by this guy, Tommy Jackson, as Tommy, that I said God was speaking through and the voice said, God spoke through him and said, if you don’t use this gift, we’re taking it back. So then it was like, all right, what do I do with this gift that I’ve been gifted? I have to use it. I have to. And I think that’s everybody. Everybody has a gift of some sort. And who are we not to use it when God gave it to us? So, yeah,
yeah, we we we play so small, we play so, so small and feel we’re not enough and all those things. So if I love this, you’re able to begin serving your server, you know, you’re going to serve the heal and healing and healing is needed so badly. And, and that for such a time is this, right? So right now is a time we get to use our gifts and help heal our world. And when I said, you know, love is, you know, just love your family, love your neighbors, love your community, do what you can where you are. And, and that’s, that’s the best place to start, right? So, and my little tiny book, Candy Bar Hugs, it doesn’t take much to make a difference. I quote from it all the time. It’s like a tiny book, big message. It says unconditional love, unconditional forgiveness, not unconditional boundaries, right?
So I used to just say unconditional love and unconditional forgiveness. And then I was like, some people might take that and stay in a situation they shouldn’t. So not unconditional boundaries. But that just seems to be a way that we serve our communities by loving them and healing and doing the things that we are gifted to do. And when we don’t, that was a pretty strong message when you got, I will take it back. And I’m sure there’s times you thought it was a curse in a way, you’re like, what is this? And I was like, I don’t know what to do with all this.
There was a time we did, we had, after Tommy said that, And he said, what if you just go down to that yoga studio that they want you to buy, see if you can just use it for a night, don’t tell anybody, and let God bring the people that need your gift. So I said, all right, Friday night. I’m not gonna tell anybody, this was on a Wednesday, or no, Monday, because it was the National Championship of College Football. And on Friday, I said, okay, I’m gonna do this. Alabama was playing Clemson, and we only told the people that we needed, just in case a bunch of people showed up. We needed a couple people to check them in and all that. At like 10 minutes till, there was no one there. I said, look, I’m going to go walk the beach. I’ll be back. If no one shows, that’s all right. God didn’t want me to do this. I left. I came back. There were 66 people there.

With no advertising?
None. No. I come back, 66 people were there. How
many years ago was that?
That was 2019. Okay,
so just a few years ago.
Yeah. And
66 people came up for healing.
Yes. Yep. And so we had it all set up. I walked in, sat down, this little lady asked me a few questions so people would know what I was going to do and then I put them into a meditation and I brought them up one by one and I put hands on them and worked on them and then Fortunately, we were like, all right, let’s say God brings people. Let’s make sure we capture this. Like, we’ll interview them and we’ll ask them if they’ll send testimonies. And they did, you know. There was, so then, okay, so we do that. So we did it for three straight weeks. And the next week, we did the same thing.
More people showed up. And because those people told people. A guy showed up and his friend brought him because he had a grapefruit-sized tumor on his throat that I didn’t even know. Because I didn’t really want to ask what people had because I didn’t need to know. I know that if I put my hands on, if God wants to come through me, it’s going to come through, and it works like that. So, At the end, I’m asking everybody, does anybody have anything they want to share?
Because if you share it, you’re speaking it to everybody. It’s more real for you. You’re not going to think about it when you go home. You’re going to accept it. So this guy’s moving around and I said, is there something you want to say? Because this lady’s talking and you’re moving and making noises. And he’s like, nah, I didn’t want to share anything. And I was like, okay. He’s like, but I’m gonna. And he puts his hands up and he’s like, I couldn’t raise my hand. I couldn’t turn my head because of this grapefruit tumor on my throat. And I was like, okay. And he’s like, and it’s gone. And I thought everybody had to be lying that you were the biggest quack that you’ve convinced these people.
But now I’m one of them, you know, and it was like, okay. And, uh, and then we had it the next week and then people started. getting interesting about it. They started talking. People were, no, that can’t be true. That must be the devil. And we moved. Literally, we moved from this town because it was like, now you guys can’t just accept that this was, but I’m going to go. And and now we’ve been back since. And I just I won’t live there, but I’ll go back and help people and then leave.
So you’re in Florida. So that’s you said walk on the beach. And so everybody’s what beach which beach I want to know and so it’s uh in Florida and then um so these these are fascinating stories I you know Jesus said in John 14 12 and this I mean and other places but you we can do what he did and even more that to me means a lot I mean that means we can do anything and yes and we’re I don’t think our, you know, certainly not taught that in most of our upbringings, small church, small.
Well, you know what’s interesting about that? As a person of color, I was always taught, you can’t be average, because if you’re average, you won’t get a job. So I had to excel. Well, who was I going to look to to reach for better than average? Jesus. Just that simple. That was my example. That was, okay, well, he healed. Well, why wouldn’t I? He says I could do it. You’re saying I can’t be average, so what am I gonna be like? At least in my mind, I’m thinking that I could be like that. That’s just how it worked for me. And I had people that said, no, you can’t be like that. Well, why not? He did. He said I could. So who are you to tell me I can’t? But yeah, that’s that’s just been real in my my my mind and call it whatever you want to call it. That’s just how it worked out in my life.
Wow.
Yeah.
Very intrigued by all this, because when I started just looking into, you know, cursory, right, just looking into who you are and what you’ve done. And I’m like, whoa, this is bigger. It’s a big deal. And when you can have people show up to be healed, and then Jesus wasn’t accepted in his hometown either, right? So he couldn’t do miracles where he was because they They started.
Hunting him and eventually put him to the cross and all that.
He’s just, it’s just Jesus. What do you mean? He’s, you know, no, he was this, he was special and you’re special and you’re gifted and, and the world is better because you’re using your gifts.
Absolutely. Yeah.
And where are you headed now? You got all these books, you’re self publishing. I love that. And, um, 13 books, I think, and you’re in Florida. So what about remote? You don’t have to have people write
No, the pandemic taught me that, right? I wasn’t seeking how to do it remotely, yet during the pandemic when they said we couldn’t have people in person, I said, well, let’s see what I can do. Let’s see how that navigates. And it worked. And so then now I I work in my mind as if I am in person with that person. So I will see them and do all the things that I do when I’m called to with that person, just like they’re right in front of me. So I’m working on their energetic body when I’m working on them. And I’ve seen the same type of results. You know, I tell people this all the time, as it says in the Bible, two or more agree in my father’s name, so it shall be. I can be anybody’s number two, but they got to be number one. And if they are number one
And they truly believe it’s going to come because it’s bringing it, you know, it’s bigger than me. So that’s the beauty of knowing that God’s bringing it and that person. I used to think I was, and that would cripple me at times. I’d work on people and I’d be so exhausted that I would burn out. That’s how the 2016, how it took over in my body because I was using me. to take out work on someone’s cancer. I used to be like, I can pull it into me and I can get rid of it. I’m strong enough to do that. Well, eventually that caught up to me, you know, to where it was like, okay, now I’m paralyzed. How do I get out of this? So all of those things, it’s just life and life’s going to keep on lifing and
I say that all the time. Life’s just life.
Absolutely.
I love that term because it’s just it’s what’s so I deal with what’s so and it’s what’s so and and when you’re talking about supernatural in our in our common world, I don’t think it’s supernatural. I think it’s natural. I think when Jesus said we can do what he did and even more and we actually do it, then it is it is natural. It’s our, you know, and I I have a good friend. Gail Blair, that she is the intent, intuitional, intuitive healer, she’s an intuitive chef, she knows what your body needs to eat, and she doesn’t have to be in your presence. And, and I did, I did some Reiki training a few years ago, and it was somebody on the phone. And, you know, we, several of us were just kind of feeling where the heat was, in the, it was like a stuffed bear, we were training with and we all could feel it. It’s fascinating because when we start really gathering that we are, every single last one of us are all connected. And something, you said something in your bio about connecting or a connector and I’m a connector of fascinating people, right? I think that’s interesting, too. So we have connections, and we have healing, and we have writing, and we have coaching. So you’ve got a lot of gifts. And I never had heard of this International Peace Award or whatever that’s called. It’s done where the Nobel Peace.
Yeah,
same building. Same building. How did they find you? I’d like to know a little bit about that. I’ve never
Even heard of that. Yeah, so they typically find someone and they vet them for two years. But I was set to go, I was upcoming, getting ready to go speak at the Vatican for an event they were going to have. And the people that were putting it on were arguing. And then I typically would get on those calls and just kind of be a fly on the wall. You want me to speak, I don’t have to speak right now. But then I was like, all right, I’m here, this argument’s happening, let me navigate that and move it. And when I was done, they picked up the phone and said, hey, we got your peace guy.
And when they first called, first I thought, all right who’s trying to who’s trying to hustle me for some money like how much money you want for this award that wasn’t it then i was like you want me to come to sweden can’t you just give it to me online like can you give it to me on zoom or something and i called my dad and told him about he’s like son you got to go get that award because it will change how you see yourself when you’re standing in front of a thousand plus people and you’re the one getting the award and you have to speak on behalf of the award and blah, blah, blah.
And he was so right. It was it was the most humbling thing in my life, for sure. To realize, wait a minute, what I am doing, people know about in Sweden and some of them, they were from like Thailand and And I was like, how do these people know about this? It was just very humbling to receive an award for the work I’ve done for the last 20 years and that people really know about it. So then I had to let go of thinking this thing they call the imposter syndrome, where for me, what that looked like was I’m doing this work that I do, but second guessing it. And then it was like, this guy that sells art, like there’s one monk that sells art that he paints with a samurai sword and knives. And I’m talking, sells them for like millions of dollars. And it’s beautiful and it’s more detailed than my books are, right? And he’s painting with something that could easily slice through the canvas. And one day I was walking by with my wife and he was sitting talking to a bunch of people and he said, Sid, come over here.
I need you to talk to them. You tell them what they need to know. I’m going to be quiet. And I was like, this guy just gave up like that? And I talked, but I, so then I just had to say, all right, it’s time to stop. I got to stop second guessing, worrying about what people think and it’s time. And that’s why I did the change book actually. Cause I knew I needed to write it out in a way that I couldn’t deny it anymore. Yeah.
Fascinating. Whoa. So you, you know, out of 8 billion people, you there, Many, many, many are called, but fewer chosen, so to speak, right? And I’ve been hearing that lately, and it’s like those that are, it’s for such a time as this. It’s a responsibility in a way,
right? Yeah, I mean, I think being responsive, I talk about it a lot, and they use it in the army. You’re either reactive or you’re responsive. And if you’re responsive, you are truly able to respond to the moment and you go handle it. I’ve sang since 2006, and all of a sudden, my message in my songs is what the world needs to hear. And what a better way to shift the world than to sing and be in that vibration of harmony. And so that’s really, like I said, I’ve just been called to do these things. I’m not, I wasn’t chasing, I could have, at five years old, I was in a room with Michael Jackson. and ran around singing.
My parents thought I’d be a singer and then at seven I got recruited to play sports, so I left that. But then the calling of it, the calling on my life is I couldn’t let it go. It came back to me. And now I’ve been asked to go on this tour with this being sponsored by 360 Live, to go on this tour and be there with this kid, Wizkid. We’ll be singing on the continent of Africa and in the Caribbean. Yeah, I know that if the creator wants me to be in front of people, what a better way than to sing in front of millions.
Wow.
Yeah.
And this is, uh, I believe, uh, there’s a thirties and forties where they shifted the Hertz from the harmonic Hertz to the disharmonic Hertz, which we’ve had H not H U R T S H E R T Z.
The,
um, So I’m certain you know about that. And how, this is
such a random question. I’m been looking for, because in 2019, I told my band I’m hitting the road. I got to go find myself. So I put the band out. So we’ve been rebuilding the band so that I have people to travel with. And the last group I talked to, I was like, all right, you got this band. I need a band behind me. And he said, well, because I know you, we will definitely get into this, so on and so forth. The band is called 432 Warriors.
The 432 Hertz, right? Whoa. So this random question I come up to ask you, isn’t random, is it? No, not at
All.
That’s hysterical. Because I was like, is that important to you? And obviously, obviously it is. So yeah, I love those synchronicities. It happens. God is, I believe, working in warp speed right now. whatever you speak is manifesting as you speak it or as you think it. So every word matters. That’s one of my, you know, in the split second transformation book, every word matters. And we’ve gotten very casual with our language, if you’re listening out in the world, and they’re very low vibration words that and phrases we’re using to about ourselves, which I’m like, stop.
Cancel,
cancel,
cancel.
Absolutely. I heard something that someone said once and it eliminated. Now, I used to be like a power cursor. I could curse somebody out in a heartbeat to move it forward. But then I learned if you curse, you’re actually cursing your own life. And I was like, ah, that’s it. Elimination. Thank you. I’m done. Appreciate you playing. Yeah, I think it’s so important. This thing called life, I like to think of it as a game, because it’s not the final destination. And I just need to know the rules of the game to win. And part of that is cursing. If you’re cursing your own life, you’re losing the game and I choose to win. That’s it. It’s pretty easy. It doesn’t have to be so hard. do the things that lead you to peace and that you don’t need anything else in your spiritual practice.
Well, that’s your story. I mean, peace. You are a peacemaker. Yeah. And you’re you’ve got to. Anybody can go to Sid McNairy.com/pathtopeace. So Sid, S-I-D-M-C-N-A-I-R-Y McNairy.com/pathtopeace and get a free download of your of that book. You know, that’s pretty powerful. So this path to peace. So you are a peacemaker. And it is so wonderful to just have the peace that passes understanding. I think I have it most of the time. I mean, there’s not 100%. You know, and I love it. People call me out when I say something sometimes and I’m like, thank you. Thank you for calling me out. If I, if I curse myself, so to speak, or, you know, and, and, and cancel, cancel, you know, cancel, cancel. No, no, no. You know, when, when you’re like, ah, this is killing me, you know, I hate this. I’m like, hey, it’s a pretty strong word, right? It’s a really strong word for a, for a, a scratch on your arm or, you know, I mean, whatever, you know, it’s, it’s, there’s things to hate, but not, it’s, it’s a really strong word. So,
and the word though, is like an illusion, like hate. Most people hate things with more passion than they do what they love. And it’s an illusion, like you really love it so much that you care so much that you have to give it so much energy. It’s just not the energy you want in your life. So to let go of these illusions, it’s all love. To actually act like it’s anything other than love is an illusion. So hate is just a low vibrational love. You’re helping the thing that you don’t like grow by hating it.
Isn’t that, I mean, it’s just Bassack words, right? So I want to, you’re building a complex, you said. Where is this acreage your grandmother had?
She’s still alive. It’s my adopted grandmother and it’s in the Poconos. She has 228 acres of land in the Poconos, northern Pennsylvania, close to New York, in between. It’s about an hour and a half from Philadelphia and New York.
Wow. And do any of your siblings or children, what do your children think of these gifts? Here, my dad was a coach, you know, and now he’s a woo-woo, you know, so.
Well, fortunately, my children have only, they didn’t get to experience me much as a coach. My oldest, when he left for college, half of his life was me as a coach, half of it was me as a yogi. So at 13 years old, he started teaching yoga, but he also became a captain of his football team. So if he started making fun of something I do, that’s what he does. So which then meant his younger brother and sister both got to see not only their dad, but their oldest sibling living that life. So I don’t think they think it’s weird at all, actually. It’s definitely different to them because their friends’ parents aren’t that. But at the same time, they just, they lean into it, you know. It’s
Their normal.
Exactly.
It’s what they know. And you’re so when you say you’re going to build a retreat center, so to speak, people to come together.
Yeah, it’s really the net positive village. So it’ll have land. The main bulk of the land will stay. open land for life. And it’s where I got to go and sit on the mountain and and connect to God and be on vision quests and all those things. And then we’ll have a village where people will be able to lease part of the land and build houses and those kind of things. And then we’ll have the wellness center. And we’re also going to build a school on it.
That’s so that’s so cool. Are you I’m going to guess that uh you’re familiar with Michael Singer and the Untethered Soul and his uh I mean that I came into his stuff I’d heard of Untethered Soul years ago but I had only read it about three or four years ago and I was like you know he’s like here we are one out of eternity billions and billions and billions of years and people we’ve got eight billion now but we’ve had centuries and whatever so if you if you pull yourself back out of the And look at at the earth and we’re a pet this little hundred years or whatever. We live on this earth is a tiny pinprick
Yes
In eternity and we spend it upset You know, you got me off and you know, then we go home and talk about the upset again and we you know, we it’s crazy the so many people have succumbed to that lower level of thinking that all this stuff out here matters, right? So, anyway, I think Michael Singer is fascinating, but he has, he’s got his, what’s it called? And it’s in Florida.
He has an astro, I can’t remember the name of it though.
Yeah. Anyway, but he’s, I mean, he just like, that’s what he started doing and And Pople came. So, if you build it, they’ll come. So, I think that we’re, you’re on to something big, because there is healing that’s happening, you know, and needing to be happened as we feel like we’re, our globe is trans, or the people in our world are, I think we’ve reached a tipping point where it’s lighter, more light than dark. And do you agree with that? Yeah.
Yeah, I think we are definitely hitting that space that’s creating more and more and more light in the whole galaxy, in the universe. At one point, I think the sky was completely black. Now there’s all these stars, so light is winning. But what happens, you know, but at the same time, dark isn’t bad because you can’t have light without dark. You know, so that’s something that I’ve learned to really be at true peace.
It’s the duality, right? We got dark and light and good and bad and wrong and wrong and all those things. And they’re, they’re all necessary to, to be, to bring out the, um, to bring the light to light, so to speak.
Yes, yes.
And I, you know, when I leave and go to the store or whatever, I’m, you know, it’s like, just let me be the light. Let me bring out, you know, and people, I make friends at the grocery store, right? I mean, people, the service people don’t like want to leave sometimes when they’re, you know, and I’m sure you have that too. People are just drawn to the, authenticity, the warmth, the real you, the real, I mean, you’ve already expressed that because of the, even just a healing center that you didn’t even know, didn’t even mean to have. So,
I’m excited for this conversation. I think this, it’s just, I love just getting to know people. It’s my favorite hour of the week. I get this, you know, get to know somebody and get to really hear and I think this is, so much bigger than we can conceive of that what you’re doing is you know you’ll you didn’t you said earlier and I guess we can just I repeat what we were talking about earlier but you were like you had something going on in your body that caused your body to shut down your eyesight to shut down your movement to shut down and ultimately you realized you quit going to get tested because you didn’t want them to create a disease after your name, right?
Yeah, there’s already SIDS, so I didn’t need a single SID.
Right. So, yeah, so I think that’s really a telling thing that, you know, and that’s really where you became healed and became, you said, or you can say what you said, but basically that you wanted your You could you became a shaman so to speak or a Gifted healer, but you had to experience
All the parts of the world
The pain of the world in order to Offer it.
I mean most people don’t realize the reason why Keep such peace now is because and some people aren’t okay when I say this, I don’t have a choice. When I wasn’t keeping the peace, I lost the use of my body. So now when something comes in and it’s an energy that’s off, I can feel it. And if I react to it, I’m feeding that, which then ultimately, because I’ve had it since where I can’t walk, that’s not worth it for me. The costs are too big for me to lose my peace now because of what I’ve connected to. I had to go through and feel the pains of the world to understand and be in a space of true empathy for the world, no matter who it is. I’m just going to be at peace with where they are, and if I have an opportunity, help them to see something different. Because everybody’s a child of God. What did Jesus say on the cross? Forgive them, Father, because they don’t know what they do. Well, I think about that anytime that I’ve reached come around somebody that I might think, man, that’s an idiot right there. Like, oh, yeah, forgive them, father, because they don’t know what they do. That’s real for me.
It is real. And so do you believe that. There are a lot of people that are doing what you’re doing are not so much are you are more coming along, is it something that you can train Or that you can, I mean, how does that, how does, how do we expand this?
I think it’s a. There’s a true calling on some, for me, it was just a calling. Like I, it was haunting me, like everywhere I turned, it was like, no, does that look like peace? All right, well, if you keep going there, we’re gonna give you more hell than what you have. So it kept, I didn’t have really, I know people think they have a choice, that’s human arrogance to me. Human arrogance says, oh, I get to choose over what God says. No, you don’t. God’s the original thinker and started thinking, it thought us into existence. I don’t get to just choose what I want. God has already made that choice to get me where I need to go. So then for me, it’s just, all right, it’s guiding me. It’s trying to lead me back home. It’s helping me find the awareness to bring peace. And it just so happens that I, look around at my life and know that that level is what I’m supposed to bring. I look in the camera right now, and I don’t know what it was like before, but look at all the light coming in the window as we talk about this. Like, that’s real to me.
I’d like to look at the moments of what is God doing that I know I’m not doing. I didn’t dial up the light, right? And so, it’s important that way to me, which looks like I’ll say it this way. I wrote this the other day. The only life needed is to stay connected and non-reactive. This is talking about spiritual practice. The only life needed is to stay centered and non-reactive. To grasp peace and hold it fully is the greatest asset. When you achieve peace at 100%, time stops. There is only now. Karma dissolves, scars fade, everything that once bound you falls away and you become one with all. That’s the only thing I need as a spiritual life. Yes, you can have your religion and I love religion when it’s guiding you to peace, but really the only thing is that for me. So I’m happy that I know that and I get to work at it, at everything that I do, which then is now making it fun to go travel with a bunch of people and sing and write books. And is it bringing peace or not? And if it’s not, then I’m not in it.
That is a very, I mean, that’s still, it’s a choice, right? You’re choosing, you said, I think a lot, you know, choice, we’re always choosing something. And even though, So if you’re choosing peace, we talked about choice from your perspective, but if you’re choosing peace, if it doesn’t bring peace, you’re choosing to step away from that.
Just step away and get the lesson, because the lesson is going to bring you back.
One way or the other. It’s like, let’s do it sooner rather than later. I
don’t want to be knocking on the pearly gates and be like, can I come in? No, you didn’t get peace. Go back. Try again.
Oh, my gosh. Yeah, peace is it right? Absolutely. Love is the answer. Love and peace. And so that’s, that’s where we are. Well, this time goes so fast as hours up. And I’m so grateful for your time to show us here. So it’s Sid McNairy calm. And then if they want the gift, path to peace, slash path to peace. And you’re all over the social medias and Anything else that what else would you like to leave any last words here because we got to shut her down
Yes, there’s one truth that I uncovered in my life that in truth It’s most important book. I have it’s just a little book right there, and it’s just called truth and What I’ve learned about the truth is no matter who argues about it it’s still going to be the truth. No matter who wants to defend it, it’s going to be the truth. And it doesn’t need anyone to defend it. It’s still going to be the truth. So I’ve uncovered one truth in my life. all of life is determined by your connection. If you are connected to hate, you’re going to experience hate. If you’re connected to love, you’re going to experience love on whatever level you are connected to it. So if you don’t like what you see, that’s your frequency. Your frequency is what you frequently see. All of life is determined by your connection. That’s what I got.
Fascinating. I mean, it’s deep. So, I mean, There’s a lot of not deep out here, right? There’s a lot of fluff. There’s a lot of distraction, I would say, is probably the biggest one. So you’re bringing it back home. If it brings more peace, then go that way. Follow that path, right?
Yes. Yes.
So I’m so grateful that you took the time today. I’m fascinated. I want to follow your journey. So your music, how are we going to find your music?
You can find it’s on Spotify, it’s on iTunes, it’s on all the listening devices people like. Just listen.
Is it Sid McNairy music? You got it, you got
it, yes. Albums or?
Right now, the most recent music, they’re singles, but the album’s coming. Because I’ve gone from 2006, I’ve gone through all multiple genres, but at this point, I’m singing country blues because it’s a space where I can shift the world.
And, and it tells stories. You can hear it. You can learn, understand the words. I’m a country. I’m from Fort Worth, Texas here, you know, so I love, uh, I love a little bit of the country. Um, so good for you. Very, very excited to get to know you and we’ll see you every month on the mastermind on the change. And, um, every week on the Charla Anderson show, we have somebody fascinating, just like you.
So
always, always remember, please always remember to choose. Oh, gotta find that button. Always remember to choose joy. .

About Sid McNairy

Meet Sid McNairy — The Global Ambassador of Peace.
In 2016, Sid’s world was turned upside down. Paralyzed and eventually losing his sight, everything he thought he knew about himself vanished. Yet in that darkness, something extraordinary was born. Through surrender and faith, Sid discovered how to heal, how to see beyond the physical, and how to listen to the song of the soul.
That awakening ignited a lifelong mission: to help others rise from their own challenges into healing, purpose, and ultimate Peace.
For decades, Sid has been a quiet yet powerful force — an architect of transformation, a leader of intention, and a guide for those ready to live with depth and authenticity. He understands that true confidence doesn’t come from titles or trends; it comes from knowing who you are and expressing that truth with integrity and timeless grace.
Today, Sid stands as a global teacher, healer, and visionary, leading people across the world to awaken their highest potential and embody Peace in every aspect of their lives. He’s not here to tell you who to be — he’s here to remind you of the greatness that’s already within you.
Sid McNairy is the embodiment of Peace. He lives it, breathes it, and shares it — guiding humanity to remember that when we rise in Peace, we rise together.
In 2016, world-renowned teacher Sid McNairy was left paralyzed losing the use of every muscle in his body and, for the second time, his sight. What seemed like the end became the beginning of something far greater.
Through faith, surrender, and an unshakable connection to Peace, Sid transformed unimaginable loss into divine purpose ultimately rising to become a World Peace Ambassador.
In this intimate conversation, meet the Singer, Author, Speaker, Coach, and Healer behind the movement for global Peace. Discover what it truly means to rebuild from within, how to find clarity in the midst of chaos, and why even in our darkest moments, the light of Peace is never lost.
