Values
When my Children were young, I began offering a ‘Saying of the Month’ to begin instilling some of my Values into their Soul. Long before there were memes, I would put index cards and sticky notes around the house with the monthly saying, and we would repeat it throughout the day. The idea was that in one years' time, they would have gained 12 of my most important Truths. Repeat each value daily for the month, and repeat annually.

January:
This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.

WHO I AM is more important than what I have.

I will accept total responsibility for my actions and my choices.

Life is what YOU make it... ATTITUDE!
August:
Pain is inevitable, misery is optional.
